Was one of two Lady Chaps to start in all 13 matches during the COVID shortened season... Made the move to setter and ranked fifth in LSC in assists per set (7.87) and 11th in digs per set (4.8)... Was the first player during the season in NCAA Division II to have at least 30 assists and 30 digs in the same match, completing the rare feat on Feb. 2 vs. UT Permian Basin (35 assists, 30 digs)... Topped 40 assists with a season-high 42 on Jan.26 vs. West Texas A&M... Led LCU obtaining 10 double-doubles of the 13 matches played...

Appeared in 111 sets and ranked third on the squad in digs with 301 for a pace of 2.71 per set... Ranked fourth on the team in aces (16)... Had 27 digs on Sept. 28 vs. UT Permian Basin... Was one of five Lady Chaps members to appear in all 28 matches played...

High School
Sims was a two-sport star at Bushland High School in Bushland, Texas, excelling in volleyball and basketball... Her senior season (2017), she claimed District Setter of the Year honors and made the Regional All-Tournament Team for Bushland, who fell in the Regional Championship Game and was unable to defend their 2016 UIL State Title... She claimed All-State honors in 2016 and UIL All-State Tournament Team accolades... The Amarillo Globe News Super Team selection was a three-time All-District selection in volleyball and a two-time All-District selection in basketball (claimed Defensive MVP honors in basketball in 2016-17)... She was a 2016 All-Region Team member, chosen by the TABC as a junior...
