Kaitlyn, from Winnsboro, Texas, joins LCU following a decorated high school career as one of East Texas’ premier perimeter shooters and all-around playmakers... A four-year standout for Winnsboro High School, McAdoo helped guide the Lady Raiders to three UIL State Tournament appearances and four consecutive deep playoff runs, including a Class 3A State Semifinal appearance in 2024–25, where Winnsboro narrowly fell 40–38 to Jim Ned on last-second free throws... She was a TABC All-State First Team and District 13-3A MVP selection as a senior, averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 steals per game while surpassing 100 made three-pointers — her second straight season doing so... McAdoo was also named to the 2024–25 TGCA All-Legacy Team for Classes 1A–4A and the Tyler Morning Telegraph All–Rose Country Team, marking her second consecutive appearance on the list... During her junior campaign, she averaged 14.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 3.2 steals, again eclipsing 100 threes while earning TABC All-Region and District 13-3A First Team honors... A prolific scorer, she once set the Winnsboro single-game record with nine made three-pointers... Off the court, McAdoo honed her game on the club circuit with True Texas Hoops, further cementing her reputation as one of Texas’ top small-school guards.
