Meg Meekins, a guard from Nocona, Texas, enjoyed a decorated multi-sport career at Nocona High School, where she was a four-year starter in both basketball and volleyball... She earned multiple All-State honors from the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) and the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC), along with All-Tournament recognition at the UIL State Basketball Tournament in San Antonio as a junior in 2023–24... Following her junior season, she was named the Texoma Nexstar 2024 Small School Female Athlete of the Year... As a senior, Meekins became just the fifth girls basketball player from the Wichita Falls area to surpass 3,000 career points, capping her career as one of the region’s most prolific scorers... She led Nocona to the 2025 Class 2A state championship— the program’s first-ever title—after finishing as runner-up the previous year... In the championship game, Meekins poured in 30 points, including four three-pointers, while adding six rebounds, four assists, and four steals to earn MVP honors... She again received TGCA All-State and All-Region accolades and was named the TGCA 1A–4A Player of the Year... A versatile athlete, she was also an All-State volleyball selection in 2023 and competed in track and field as part of Nocona’s mile relay team...
