Lowery set a new personal best in the 5K at the D-II Preview, finishing 13th with a time of 21:01.8. A week prior, Lowery had recorded her first career top-20 finish, finishing 16th at the NMJC Invitational with a time of 21:39.7. In her first career 6.275K, Lowery finished with a time of 26:36.6 at the ACU Naimadu Classic. Lowery closed out the 2021 season with a new personal best in the 6K at the 2021 NCAA South Central Regional with a time of 25:22.4

In high school, Lowery's personal best in the two-mile was 12:28 and in the mile was 5:42.Â
