2011 – LCU

Melia appeared in 12 matches and starting two of them her sophomore season. She produced 42 kills in 31 sets, along with a .205 attack percentage, and also had 17 blocks.

Freshman Season - LCU

Melia appeared in nine matches during her freshman season and amassed an impressive .282 hitting percentage with 15 kills on 39 attempts with just four errors. She also assisted on five blocks.

High School

Wood is a Carrollton native out of Creekview High School. She was the District 9-5A Hitter of the Year, claiming First Team All-District honors. The three-year letterwinner and two-year Team Captain was the program's Most Valuable Player in 2009 after posting 361 kills, 197 digs and 50 aces. Wood, a middle blocker, most recently played club with Dallas based Victory Elite.
