LCU Soccer Field (Lubbock, Texas)

CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•      The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals close out a three-game homestand hosting St. Edward's University Saturday for their final Heartland Conference home game of the season.
•        Lubbock Christian heads into Saturday's contest 4-1-0 in conference (6-4-1 overall) following a 1-0 home loss Monday to Newman.
•     LCU, 5-3-1 in home games last season, is 2-2-1 at home this season and 23-10-5 all-time at home.

STORY LINES
•   The Chaparrals had several win streaks snapped Monday in their 1-0 loss to Newman. LCU had been on a nine-game conference win streak, which was the longest active  conference win streak in NCAA Div. II. The loss is LCU's second loss ever in Heartland Conference play (11-2-0) and their first since losing at home to Texas A&M International on Oct. 14, 2013. It was their first Heartland Conference shutout loss in program history and the third time overall they have been shutout this season. The last time LCU was shutout at home was on Sept. 14, 2013 (a 0-0 tie to Huston-Tillotson) and the last time they were shutout at home in a conference game was Oct. 13, 2012 (to John Brown).
•    Despite being shutout in their last game, LCU still ranks towards the top of the Heartland Conference in goals per game, ranking third with a pace of 2.4 per game.
•   With Tommy Fogarty-Cameron's two-goal game last Saturday against Rogers State, LCU now has two players in the top-five amongst the conference in points per game. Lennard Hansen ranks third in the conference with an average of 1.5 points per game and Fogarty-Cameron ranks fifth with an average of 1.3 points per game.
•    LCU is 4-0-0 on the season when leading at the half, but they are a combined 2-4-1 when tied or trail-ing at the half.
•    The Chaps are 3-3-1 all-time against ranked opponents, including three consecutive wins against ranked competition. Their last game against a ranked opponent was Oct. 28, 2013, with a 1-0 win over then-No.13 St. Edward's.  LCU is 1-1-0 all-time against ranked teams at home.  They have never faced a team ranked No.16.
•    When it comes to game winning goals, LCU has received game winning goals from six different indi-viduals and no players has more than one on their resume this season.

SCOUTING SEU
•    The Hilltoppers enter the weekend 10-2-1 on the season and they are 4-0-0 in conference play, serving as the only unbeaten team in conference. They are unbeaten in their last 10 games (9-0-1) and have not lost since falling 2-1 in overtime to Metro State.
•    The last game for SEU was a 3-1 win over No.16 Midwestern State University.
•    St. Ed's is 7-1-1 on the road this season.
•    The Hilltoppers have allowed only eight goals this season, which leads the conference and ranks tied for seventh in the nation.
•    The SEU offense is led by Andrew Fox, who leads the conference with 25 points (9g,7a). His seven assists co-leads the conference.

SERIES HISTORY WITH SEU
•    LCU leads the all-time series 1-0-0.
•    The only prior meeting resulted in a 1-0 LCU win on Oct.28, 2013, as LCU defeated a No.13 St. Ed-ward's squad in Austin.
•     This will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams in Lubbock.
