Including tonight's matchup, EC has four scheduled exhibition games, having traveled to fellow Heartland Conference member UA-Fort Smith and will also face Houston Baptist and University of Arkansas-Monticello.

History between Chaps and Royals
Last season marked the first contest between the two squads, with LCU winning 105-68.

Last meeting of LCU and EC
LUBBOCK, Texas (November 29, 2013) – Lubbock Christian cruised to a 105-68 non-conference win against Ecclesia College on Friday afternoon at The Rip Griffin Center behind 21 points from Ridrell Holman, while Tyler Rogers and Aaron Stephenson contributed 11 and 10, respectively.
This marks the third time the Chaps (4-1, 0-0 Heartland) have passed the 100-point threshold during the 2013-14 season and the fourth stint for head coach Todd Duncan is his tenure. LCU connected on 58.7 percent of their field goals (37-of-63), including a 42.3 percent clip from beyond the arc (11-26).
Holman got hot early, nailing his first two three-point attempts to give the Chaps a 6-2 lead less than two minutes into the game. He connected on another shot from deep at the 15:32 mark to put LCU up 13-4 before Ecclesia's Josh English answered back with a three of his own to cut the lead to 13-7. On the next possession, Eli Baker delivered an emphatic dunk to extend the Chap advantage by two more. A layup by Beau Durham, jumper by Anthony Brancato and a baseline floater from AJ Luckey put the Chaps up 50-28.
