LCU HIGHLIGHTS
• LCU matched SEU in shots each half, with four shots in the first half and three in the second half.
• LCU had seven shots, with each shot coming from a different individual.
• The game was LCU's first postseason appearance since 2012.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• St. Edward's had an early chance in the 11th minute to score first with Jennifer Boudrea streaking in on a breakaway but LCU goalkeeper Leslie Castellano stoned her and a shot by Whytneigh Duffie on the ensuing rebound was denied by an LCU defender for a team save.
• After a scoreless first half, SEU would score the game's lone goal 1:19 into the second half with Kelly Andrus chasing down a longball past the LCU defense and chipping it past Castellano for her third goal of the season.
• Lorrie Santoy recorded her 10th shutout of the season and second against LCU.

GAME NOTES
• The loss places LCU's all-time postseason record at 0-4. The prior three appearances have been in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament (2010, 2011, 2012). This season marked LCU's first season eligible for postseason play since transitioning to NCAA Division II. LCU has made the conference tournament in every year eligible in program history.
• Friday marked their sixth shutout loss of the season (six of LCU's seven losses on the season have been via shutouts). The loss was LCU's first ever loss in a neutral site game (2-1-0) therefore their first shutout loss in a neutral site setting. The shutout loss was their second shutout loss in a postseason game in program history.
• The contest not only closes out the season with LCU ending the season 8-7-3, but closes out the LCU careers of eight seniors. Castellano, Lauren Story, Emily Odom, Brooke Wendl, Saydee Bailey, Jessica Barrera, Jocelyn Richardson and Kristin Fellows each dressed for a final time in a Lady Chaps kit. Wendl, a four-time All-Conference selection highlights the crew, leaving as the program's all-time leading scorer with 47 goals and 29 assists for 123 points in 67 games. Story leaves as the program's all-time leader in goalkeeping wins (22), saves (126) and shutouts (14).
• It was a tough ending for LCU offensively, as the team, entering the game leading the conference in scoring (2.3 goals per game), was held to one goal over the final five games of the season.
• The road hospitality was inexistent for the Lady Chaps on the season. With their combined road and neutral site record, LCU went 1-7-1 away from home this season. They were shutout in six of the nine games played away from home and were held to four goals  in the nine games.
• Each team had seven shots. It marked the second time this season LCU matched their opposition in shots and it was their first loss when doing so (0-1-1).
• SEU opened the game's scoring. LCU finished the season 2-7-1 when their opponents score first and were unbeaten on the season when scoring first (6-0-2).
• LCU falls to 0-4-0 against SEU in the all-time series. SEU has shutout LCU in three of the meetings and has only allowed one goal to the Lady Chaps all-time.
