GOODWELL, Okla. (April 8, 2016) – The Lady Chaps have a three-game Heartland Conference series with the Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State starting with a double-header Friday at 2 p.m.

HISTORYThe Lady Chaps have faced the Aggies six times and has been victorious each time. LCU has traveled to Goodwell only once only getting in two games before the last scheduled game was cancelled because of weather. The Lady Chaps and Aggies played each other earlier this season in the North Texas Bash in Grand Prairie.
TEAM LEADERSMorgan Colburn leads the team in batting average (.408), hits (51), runs-batted-in (50), total bases (118), walks (25), doubles (13), home runs (18) and slugging percentage (.944).
Lindzi Clemmer leads the team in stolen bases with 14.

LAST MEETINGGRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (February 20, 2016) –
Ashton Bell went three-for-four, driving in three runs and scoring three to help lead LCU to an 8-4 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State in game two.
DOUBLE DUTY
Bell got the start in game two versus OPSU (6-7) and went three-and-two-third innings, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out five Aggies. Bell also went three-for-four with a rocket over the right field fence and drove in three runs while scoring three.
Katera Eltsosie (8-2) came in with the game tied 4-4 to close it out, as she threw the last three-and-a-third innings, not allowing a hit, to notch her eighth win on the year.
PALMDALE DUO
Once again, the two seniors from Palmdale, Calif., each had multiple hit games. Murrietta went two-for-four, driving in one run, and
Liz Torres doubled twice in the game, going two-for-three. Colburn hit her second home run on the day, her fourth of the tournament, in the top of inning number one to put the Lady Chaps on the scoreboard first.
Sydney Beuthien came up big for LCU with a two-out triple in the seventh inning to give the Lady Chaps an insurance run.
