Highlights
LCU finished their opening stretch 2-2, falling to Colorado State – Pueblo in straight sets before dismantling Texas Woman's in four sets later that afternoon. While it was not quite the start the Lady Chaparrals were looking for, there were many positive signs that the team can carry with them throughout the season.
Channing Castleberry, after red-shirting due to injury last year, progressed on the week and closed out the weekend with a solid double-double performance, which included 19 digs and 18 kills. They also received 11 blocks on the day from
Ariel Froeschl and nine assists per set from
Mallory Powell. LCU had 11 aces and only three serving errors on the day.
