            - Making his second start of the season. He pitched last Sunday against Southern Arkansas and went 8.1 innings allowing six runs (five earned) off 12 hits and struck out four batters. Last season, Reber faced Adams State (Feb.4, 2016) and did not have a decision in 5.2 innings. He allowed seven runs off six hits in a game LCU won 12-7.
 
ASU – Casey Weber (0-0, 4.50 ERA)
            - Weber made his season debut Feb. 4 against Benedictine-Mesa and allowed two runs off three hits in four innings. ASU lost the game 11-2, but Weber was not the pitcher of record. He is a transfer from Otero Junior College.
  
Lubbock Christian University closes out their first home series Saturday, wrapping up a four-game series at noon with Adams State University. LCU is 6-1 this season and 2-1 at home, while ASU is 3-4 on the season.
 
FRIDAY FLASHBACK
Lubbock Christian University opened the season on a six-game win streak, but it would go no further, as following their 13-5 win, Adams State University split Friday's doubleheader with an 8-4 win over the Chaparrals at Hays Field.
