           - Browning has given up five runs off seven hits in eight innings over two prior starts, but he has held the opposition to a .233 batting average despite the 5.63 ERA. He has 12 strikeouts in eight innings, with six in his prior two appearances. Browning is a Lubbock native and product of Lubbock High.
