He faced one batter over the minimum in the other six innings pitched in the game. He has nine strikeouts and one walk issued on the season.

ASU – Shane Browning (0-0, 5.63 ERA)
           - Browning has given up five runs off seven hits in eight innings over two prior starts, but he has held the opposition to a .233 batting average despite the 5.63 ERA. He has 12 strikeouts in eight innings, with six in his prior two appearances. Browning is a Lubbock native and product of Lubbock High. We were informed he would start Saturday, but ASU started Kenton Schroter instead.

The No.6 Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals received another home run from
Caleb Koedyker, his third of the series, but the Chaps pitching could not quiet the bats of No.8 Angelo State, who produced 14 runs off 17 hits and defeated LCU 14-6 Saturday night at Foster Field.
