LUBBOCK, Texas (April 14, 2017) –The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals host the Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State University in their final home Heartland Conference series of the season, with the Friday doubleheader set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and the Saturday game to begin at 12:00 noon at PlainsCapital Park on the LCU campus. The four Lady Chap seniors will be honored at 11:45 a.m. Saturday prior to the game.

The Lady Chaps are second in the conference, hitting .313 as a team, led by
Sydney Beuthien (.390). She also leads the team and the Heartland in slugging percentage (.756), runs-batted-in (42), total bases (93) and home runs (12).
Alyssa Hanks and Beuthien lead the team with nine doubles each.
Courtney Medina leads the Lady Chaps and the conference in stolen bases with 31 total. In the circle,
Katera Eltsosie leads LCU with a 13-5 record and a 2.37 earned run average as well as with the most innings pitched (100.1).
Katlyn Holmes is tops on the team with five saves this season.
OPSU
The Aggies are hitting .270 as a team. They are led by Madison Heathington, who is hitting .339. Darcie Wilson leads the team in slugging percentage (.625) and home runs (8). The two co-lead the team in runs-batted-in (26) and hits (37). Anjunessia Husband is tops on the team in stolen bases with seven. OPSU is coming off a weekend conference series sweep at the hands of Rogers State.

GOODWELL, Okla. (April 9, 2016) – A day after setting the record for the most hits in a single game, Lubbock Christian University softball could muster only two hits falling 6-0 to the Aggies of Oklahoma Panhandle State Saturday at the OPSU Softball Field in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
Lubbock Christian (36-10, 13-5) made two errors in the bottom of the third inning leading to three runs by the Aggies (17-24, 2-12). Another error in the bottom of the fourth allowed two more runs by OPSU to put them up 5-0. Sarah Gregori of Panhandle State homered in the bottom of the sixth to score the Aggies' last run.
Katlyn Holmes (15-4) started in the circle for the Lady Chaps going four innings giving up six hits allowing only one earned run while striking out four Aggies.
Katera Eltsosie came in to pitch the final two innings giving up one run on one hit striking out three. Samantha Arledge (7-7) got the start in the circle for OPSU and went the distance allowing only the two hits and striking out six Lady Chaps on the way to her seventh victory of the season.
