LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
• The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaps heads to Plainview, Texas Monday evening for a bout against Wayland Baptist University. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Pioneer's Hilliard Field.
• LCU's showdown against WBU will be match number two in a four game road trip.
• Lubbock Christian's women are looking to rebound after suffering a 2-0 loss at Colorado State – Pueblo Saturday.
• The Lady Chaps come into the game having scored four goals and 11 points on the season.

Hannah Wise has tallied six saves and allowed two goals through two games this season.
STORY LINES
• LCU has provided plenty of attempts on the offensive end of the field. So far, the Lady Chaparrals have out-shot opponents by a 27-15 margin this season. Of their 27 shots, 13 have been on frame and four have resulted in goals.
• Freshman
Allison Scott has accounted for two of Lubbock Christian's three assists for the 2017 campaign.
Gabby Gomez is responsible for their third assist of the year.
• The Lubbock Christian women have not been shutout two games in a row since back-to-back 2-0 losses to St. Edward's (10/25/15) and West Texas A&M (10/28/15), respectively, in the 2015 season.
• Wayland Baptist will serve as Lubbock Christian's first NAIA opponent since a 7-1 victory over University of the Southwest (9/3/15) during the 2015 season.
• LCU is looking to build off of last season's 3-3-3 record on the road. The match against the Pioneers will be the second of 10 road games this season.
SCOUTING WBU
• WBU comes into Monday night's contest with a 0-1-0 record after falling 3-1 to UT – Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas (9/2/17). Their lone goal came on a penalty kick in the 84
th minute.
• The Pioneers compiled a 4-11-2 overall record in the 2016 season. Three of their four wins came at home against conference opponents. WBU also finished with a non-conference record of 1-5-2.
• Wayland Baptist finished their 2016 campaign averaging one goal per game for a total of 17 goals on the season. WBU also allowed 39 goals from opponents for a 2.29 goals per game average.
• The Pioneer roster is made up of 13 upperclassmen, six of which are in their final season of eligibility.
SERIES HISTORY WITH WBU
• This will be the sixth ever meeting between the squads. Lubbock Christian holds a 3-1-1 series advantage over Wayland Baptist. The Lady Chaps won the last meeting by a 3-0 margin (9/4/14) in Plainview, Texas.
