- After 110 minutes of play, Lubbock Christian University closed out the afternoon with 3-3 draw in an offensively charged match against University of Texas – Permian Basin at Frenship H.S. Soccer Stadium.

Fernando Flores struck first for the Chaps with a rocket from the 30-yard range that found the right side netting in the seventh minute.
Jamal Yates was credited with the assist to Flores on the play.
- Richard Baguio brought the Falcons even 11 minutes later with a strike and his first goal of the season.Â
- Following a foul by UTPB at the 19:07 mark,
Louis Callaghan stepped up to take the free kick from just outside of the box. Callaghan curled a shot around the wall with his left foot into the lower back left corner of the net to put the Chaparrals ahead 2-1

Emilio Marti extended the Lubbock Christian lead in the 36
thminute after a misplay from the Texas – Permian Basin keeper led to an indirect free kick for LCU inside the 18-yard box.
Marcelo Pacheco tapped the ball to Marti who found a crease in the UTPB wall and beat the Falcon keeper to the back side of the frame.
- Oscar Canela brought the Falcons within one just before the halftime break. Canela capitalized on a penalty kick that followed an LCU foul inside the box.
- Julius Knack brought Texas – Permian Basin level in the 82
ndminute on an unassisted strike past LCU's
Braxton Thorne.
GAME NOTES
- Lubbock Christian was forced to play the final 70 minutes of the match with 10 men as senior captain
Yuriy Sadula was shown a red card in the 40
thminute.
- Between both squads, there were five cards handed out in addition to 32 fouls whistled.
- The Chaparrals have gone to overtime in their past two contests and a total of four times this season. Three of those overtime matches have concluded in a draw.
