THANKSGIVING IN SAN ANTONIO
For a second consecutive season, Lubbock Christian University is taking part in the St. Mary's Thanksgiving Classic in San Antonio, and for a second consecutive season the Lady Chaparrals will face the No.1 nationally ranked team and defending national champions. Before LCU faces No.1 Central Missouri (Saturday), they will face Kutztown University Friday. It will mark LCU's first game of the season coming off a loss, as LCU fell Wednesday at Tarleton State, which ended a nine-game road win streak.

WEDNESDAY IN WISDOM
LCU was plagued with 26 turnovers, leading to a 31-4 scoring advantage in points-off-turnovers for Tarleton State University, who defeated LCU 67-56 Wednesday night inside Wisdom Gym.

LCU's 26 turnovers were a season high and the most since they suffered their last regular season loss; suffering 28 on Nov. 24, 2017 against Ashland. LCU committed at least five turnovers in each quarter, with nine committed in the opening quarter of play.

The TexAnns produced 19 steals, which is the most by an LCU opponent since Texas A&M International had 19 steals against LCU on Nov. 21, 2005. Kaylee Allen produced eight steals for the TexAnns, marking the most by an opposing player since Kesha Buckner had eight steals for Newman on Jan. 8, 2015.

Olivia Robertson, scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter, led all players with 23 points off 7-of-9 shooting from the field. She was 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, drawing 11 fouls. LCU also received 12 points from Maddi Chitsey. LCU was 47.6% from the field (20/42) and 3-of-12 from three-point range (coming off 16 three-pointers Saturday).

The loss was LCU's first road loss since Feb. 11, 2017 at Arkansas Fort Smith and it ended a nine-game road winning streak (it was the sixth active best in NCAA Division II).

NEUTRAL SITES
LCU has not played in a neutral site game this season. The Lady Chaps went 6-2 in neutral site games last season.

SISTER CHRISTIAN
On Nov.10, CSU-Pueblo marked the first time in LCU program history in which a pair of sisters tallied double figures, as LCU received double-digit point production from Olivia Robertson, Juliana Robertson, Bobbi Chitsey and Maddi Chitsey. LCU has three sisters on the squad, but they have not had a game yet in which all three sisters touched the floor.  Caitlin Cunyus did make her season debut Wednesday at Tarleton State.

LCU has four players with at least an average of 2.0 assists per game.  Allie Schulte leads the team with 26 assists (4.3 per game), with Olivia Robertson (14, 2.3), Bobbi Chitsey (12, 2.0) and Caitlyn Cunyus (3.0) also providing into the ball distribution.
