DALLAS, Texas (September 13, 2018) – The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals make a trip to the Dallas area Thursday to open a trio of non-conference games against Heartland Conference opponents in a conference preview event. Thursday, they face DBU (Dallas Baptist University) inside Burg Center at 4:30 p.m. before facing St. Edward's and Newman Friday at Advantage Sports Complex in Carrollton, Texas.

- The Lady Chaps hold a staggering 32-4 all-time record against the Patriots. LCU opened the all-time series winning the first 23 meetings dating back to 1983. DBU won the previous meeting 3-1 (Nov. 2, 2017), ending a streak of four consecutive wins by LCU.
- DBU was preseason picked sixth in the Heartland Conference. They went 10-16 last season, with a 5-7 mark in conference play.
