Lady Chaps Set to Host Rattlers

LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
- Lubbock Christian University has geared up all week for Thursday's Heartland Conference showdown against St. Mary's University. The Lady Chaparrals will host the Rattlers at Frenship H.S. Soccer Stadium for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
- The Lady Chaps are looking to end a two-game slide after a pair of losses against St. Edward's and DBU.
- Makenna Pate and Hollie Windham lead the LCU squad with two goals apiece.
 
STORY LINES
- Of Lubbock Christian's two wins this season, both have come at home. With that being said, the Lady Chaparrals are 0-1 when playing at Frenship H.S. Soccer Stadium.
- As they enter Thursday's contest, LCU resides in the fifth-place position for the latest Heartland Conference standings.
- Hannah Wise ranks sixth in the conference with 37 saves through the first eight competitions.
- With 39 team fouls, Lubbock Christian ranks second in the conference for least fouls committed.
 
SCOUTING StMU
- The Rattlers enter the day with an 0-3-1 mark in Heartland matches.
- Though they have lost three of their last five matches, St. Mary's is coming off of a 7-1 victory over Our Lady of the Lake University.
- Allowing 13 goals this season, the StMU defense has given up a 1.86 goals against average.
- Alexia Maldonado and Morgan Cave lead the Rattler squad with three goals each.
- Though Cameron Koerner and Erin Longford have split time in the net this season, Koerner has logged a majority of the starting appearances with five. Koerner has made 35 saves while allowing eight goals.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH StMU
With a 4-3-2 overall record against St. Mary's, the Lady Chaparrals will look to increase their advantage in the all-time rivalry. In their most recent meeting, LCU climbed out on top with a 1-0 double-overtime victory at LCU Soccer Field.
