Box Score 1 LUBBOCK, Texas (February 11, 2019) – Lubbock Christian University used a seven-run fourth-inning, all with two outs, to claim a 10-0 victory over University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) Monday at the LCU Invitational. The victory ended up wrapping up an originally scheduled nine-game homestand, as the howling plus-40-MPH dirt-filled winds led to LCU and West Texas A&M agreeing to cancel their contest Monday evening.

With two outs in the fourth inning and LCU leading 3-0, the Lady Chaps had eight consecutive batters reach base safely.
How it Happened:
- A bases-loaded single by Morgan Dufour opened the scoring in the first inning.
- Lindzi Clemmer grounded out with the bases loaded in the second inning to extend the LCU lead to 2-0.
- Alexis Reed produced her first home run as a member of the Lady Chaps with a solo homer in the third inning to push the LCU lead to 3-0.
- Two of the first three batters in the bottom of the fourth inning were retired, and the Lady Chaps followed sending nine more batters to the plate. Alivia Villarreal, Darling and Logan Grado each doubled during the string of eight batters reaching safely. Toss in a pair of errors and it led to a seven-run inning for the Lady Chaps.

- Villarreal's two-hit performance helped extend her hit streak eight games. She is the only Lady Chap to have at least one hit in all eight games this season.
- The game ending in five innings marked their third game (all wins) ending early due to the run rule.
- Logan Grado has two consecutive pinch-hit appearances leading to base hits.
- The Lady Chaps were 3-for-4 getting the leadoff batter aboard and 3-for-8 in two-out at-bats.
