THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED

Celia Duarte opened the scoring in the ninth minute, as the freshman scored a goal that was assisted by Allison Scott
Sophomore Arely Jimenez scored her first goal of the 2019 season just over a minute later, increasing the Lady Chap lead to 2-0
Hollie Windham got her second goal of the year in the game's 17^th minute on an assist from Haley Knesek
Allison Scott scored back-to-back goals in under three minutes for LCU's next two scores. One goal was assisted by Duarte, while the other score was unassisted
Duarte added to the Lubbock Christian lead in the 28^th minute with her second goal of the game. Adrienne Almodova assisted, putting the Lady Chaps up 6-0
Almodova followed up her assist with a goal of her own, scoring in the 38^th minute. It was her first since the 2017 season and gave LCU a 7-0 lead
Hayden Burdsal followed with her first goal of the 2019 season as well, as Hailey Phipps assisted
Another Lady Chap scored back-to-back goals within a span of three minutes. Haley Knesek took a penalty kick to increase the lead to 9-0 and then scored a goal assisted by Carmen Herndon that got LCU to double-digits
Tegan Wilson closed out the Lubbock Christian offensive outburst, scoring a goal in the 69^th minute that got the Lady Chaps to the final 11-0 score

LCU HIGHLIGHTS

Three different Lady Chaps score multiple goals in the game, including Duarte has now scored multiple goals in back-to-back games and leads the team with five scores overall
The Lady Chaps gave up five shots from the Lady Falcons in the game, but not a single one of them was on frame
LCU's first five shots on goal in the game all found the back of the net. It was the 25^th minute of the game before a Lady Chap shot was saved
Lubbock Christian reached the double-digit mark in the corner kick category for the second straight game, earning 13 while allowing just four from UT Permian Basin
Four different Lady Chaps scored their first goals of the season against the Falcons, including Almodova, Wilson, Burdsal and Jimenez

LADY CHAP NOTES

Lubbock Christian's 11 goals matched its all-time program high for goals scored in a game. The only previous game with 11 goals came on September 3, 2012 in a game LCU also won 11-0 at Wiley College
The Lady Chaps did not allow a shot on goal for the first time since September 28, 2019 when they beat Texas A&M-International 1-0
Duarte posted her second straight games with five points, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on a third
LCU's 30 points tallied in the game (11 goals, eight assists) were their second-most ever in a single game, only behind the 9/3/2012 win over Wiley, which included 34 points (11 goals, 12 assists)
