LEADING OFF
Trailing in the series two games to one, the Lubbock Christian baseball team has a chance to clinch a series split at home for the first time this season if they can take down UT Tyler on Sunday. The Patriots, who enter the day second in the Lone Star Conference, dropped game two of the series to the Chaps 11-7. LCU nearly came back to win in game three as well, loading the bases in the ninth, but a double play ended their chances. LCU will need a win today to avoid their third straight series loss at home.
