Men's Soccer
- The Chaps opened the 2012 season
Denning
with a win over Southwest (N.M.), with Stewart MacDonnell scoring the game-winner in the 59thminute for the 2-1 win. Timothy Haywood scored the other LCU goal of the day, going top shelf in the 14th minute.
Women's Soccer
- Lubbock Christian freshman Brooke Wendl had two goals in her collegiate debut, including the overtime game-winner, in a 2012 season-opening 2-1 win over Southwest (N.M.). The win was the first coaching win at LCU for head coach Alex Denning.
Volleyball
- LCU jump-started an eight-game win streak with a 3-0 win over St. Thomas (Fla.) in West Palm Beach Fla. in the 1999 season. Kari Barrett (Bezner) posted 23 assists in the win, which also witnessed Julie Williams and Mindy Ratliff (Jones) contribute 16 kills each.
Lawrence
- Jennifer Lawrence made her LCU head coaching debut in 2004, with LCU claiming 3-0 wins in Cleveland, Tenn. over Faulkner and Seton Hill at the Lee Classic.
- LCU wrapped up the 2005 Lady Buff Classic in Canyon, Texas with 3-0 victories over Southwestern Oklahoma State and Fort Hays State.
- The Lady Chaps opened the 2010 season with a 3-0 upset win over No.12 Olivet Nazarene in Plainview, Texas at the Coca-Cola Classic. Bailey Jones (Hall) had 13 kills and Jordan Goings had 31 assists and 11 digs for a double-double.
- LCU captured first place at the 2011 Coca-Cola Classic in Plainview, Texas with 10 team aces (five by Chelsea Lyons) in a 3-0 win over Texas Wesleyan.
