Lubbock Christian University took advantage of a 26-10 advantage in attack errors with a 3-0 straight-set Lone Star Conference win over Texas A&M-Kingsville, which extends LCU win streak to seven matches and has them with a 6-0 Lone Star Conference record (matches best conference start since 2018).
Chloe Menard had a special game, producing a career-best five aces and adding 11 digs and a kill, which both matched a career-best.

TAMUK's loss gave them back-to-back losses (lost Friday at Angelo State) after entering the weekend with 20 consecutive regular season wins.
How It Happened
Set One:
Like their match against Texas A&M International Friday, LCU jumped out to a big start in the first set, opening with a 7-1 run off five TAMUK attack errors. TAMUK did use a 5-2 run to get four points of LCU (12-8), but a 5-0 Lady Chaps run to extend the lead to 17-8. TAMUK produced 11 attack errors and hit -.071 in the set, as LCU cruised to a 25-15 set win.
Sage Chain led LCU in the frame with three kills.
Set Two:
Neither team had more than a two-point advantage early in the set until broke a 9-9 tie with a 6-1 run for a 15-10 advantage. TAMUK rallied with eight of the next 12 points to force LCU into a timeout up 19-18. LCU broke serve with a kill from Gray, which led to nine consecutive points in the set decided by kills. Mayo broke the string with consecutive blocks (one a combo with Chain), and LCU closed the set on a 6-2 run to win the set 25-20. Gray led LCU with five kills in the set, and TAMUK had six from Tammy Jo Grohman, as TAMUK had a 16-12 kill advantage in the set.
Set Three:
Menard set the tone in the third set, as she served three consecutive aces to give LCU a 4-0 start in the set. A 6-1 run followed for and the large lead early would last for a 25-19 set win. With LCU leading 17-9, 17 of the 18 remaining points (including 15 straight) were via kills, as LCU hit .400 and TAMUK hit .297 in the set that teams combined for 32 kills (17 by TAMUK). Chain (5) and Mayo (4) combined for nine kills for LCU in the set. Jackie Alanis led all players with six kills in the frame for the Javelinas.
