WNMU went on a 5-0 run before a bad set led to the clinching point for LCU taking a 25-16 set win. Seven different Lady Chaps had at least one kill, as LCU used 12 players in the first set and were led by Froeschl.

Set Two:
A pair of aces helped the Mustangs go on a 7-0 run, building an 11-5 lead, forcing LCU to play from behind. Sage Chain and Aaliyah Gray produced a pair of LCU kills to help spark a 5-1 run and LCU pulled the deficit to 12-10. WNMU led 15-12 before LCU flipped the script in the set. Kaitlyn Mayo had a pair of kills to follow a kill by Froeschl and it jump-started a 9-1 run for a 21-16 LCU lead. LCU went on to claim the set 25-21 behind a .333 hitting mark and 18 kills in the frame.
