LCU's Jenna Lyons (9) and Avery Moore (8) combined for 17 kills. They also had six kills (off a .353 attack percentage) and 10 digs from Zoe Parker. Jalee Sims had the only double-double of the match, contributing 25 assists and 14 digs.

How It Happened

Set One:
The opening set was similar to Tuesday's opening set, which included the score tied on nine occasions. Wednesday, the first set had three lead changes and the score tied six times. ASU had the early advantage, leading the set 15-10 before LCU started their climb back. Four different Lady Chaps had a kill during a 6-1 LCU run. ASU never trailed until a 21-18 lead was erased by a 4-0 run, featuring kills from Avery Moore and Jenna Lyons, for a 22-21 LCU lead. The score was tied 23-23 before ASU closed the set with a kill from Kailyn Gilbreath and a solo block by Grace White for the 25-23 set win. ASU won the set despite LCU having a 12-10 advantage in kills. Gilbreath led all players in the set with four kills.

Set Two:
The Belles jumped out to a 6-0 lead early in the set, with two of the points tallied off aces from Lindsey Ledyard. Jalee Sims had an ace to help LCU answer with a 4-0 run, but the Belles countered with a 4-0 run of their own for a 10-4 ASU lead. The wave of runs continued in the set, with LCU going on a 6-1 run, with only one attack in the surge (Avery Moore), to cut the deficit to 11-10. LCU then had to fight back from a 16-11 and a 21-16 deficit, doing so with a 7-3 run to avoid three ASU set-points. ASU finally claimed the set with a kill from Sophia Berg to win the set 25-22. Gilbreath again led ASU in the set, producing six of the team's 14 kills, as ASU led LCU 14-8 in kills. Ledyard assisted on 13 of ASU's 14 kills.

Set Three:
Similar to the opening set, the two teams were neck-and-neck early in the set until ASU went on a 4-0 run for a 15-11 lead. A kill by Moore helped LCU cut the deficit to 16-14, but ASU responded with a 6-2 run for a 22-16 advantage. They would claim the set 25-18 to win the match 3-0. Each team had 12 kills in the set, but ASU had an attack percentage of .344 in the set and four kills from Gilbreath. Lyons led LCU in the set with four kills and Sims assisted on 10 of their 12 kills. Maddie DeGuire produced six digs to lead LCU in the frame.
