Addi Lewis combined to go 5-for-5 on the day and
Savannah Wysocki, who also produced five hits on the day, drove in four runs, as No.25 Lubbock Christian University completed their play at the WT Invitational with a 12-0 win over Fort Lewis College and a 9-1 win over Colo. Colorado Springs (UCCS) in a pair of run-rule shortened games. Eight different Lady Chaps drove in runs on the afternoon, which witnessed LCU extending their win streak to eight games.

Game 1 vs. Fort Lewis College

Turning Point:
Leading 3-0 in the third inning,
Savannah Wysocki hit a two-run two-out single to extend the lead to 5-0.
How it Happened:
- Four walks and a hit batter led to a two-run first inning, as LCU scored the runs without a hit recorded.
- LCU had three runs off four hits in the third inning, with Wysocki following and RBI-single from Alivia Villarreal with a two-run single up the middle with two outs, which extended the LCU lead to 5-0.
- Skylar Herrera led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a solo home run over the tall leftfield fence against the 25-mph wind. Brooke Makemson followed with a blast against the wind, which ended up a double off the left-centerfield fence at the deepest part of the park. LCU had four extra-base hits to lead off the inning, as Makemson's double was followed by doubles from Angela Donaldson and Lewis. Villarreal plated a run on a sacrifice fly, and RBI-singles from Alexa Riggs and Bella Smith capped the seven-run fourth inning.
- Taylor Franco faced the first 11 batters before allowing her first hit of the game (3.0 innings), as she faced three batters over the minimum (18).

- LCU was 6-for-14 (.429) with runners in scoring position, with six different Lady Chaps having a hit with a runners in scoring position.
- Taylor Franco improved to 5-1 on the season, recording her fifth complete game and fourth complete game shutout. She has now pitched 39.1 innings without allowing an earned run.
- Herrera's home run was her third home run of the tournament and seventh of her career.

Turning Point:
LCU, hitting 6-for-12 in the game in two-out at-bats, sent seven batters to the plate with two outs in the fourth inning, leading to three runs and building the lead to 5-0. Makemson (two runs) and Lewis (one run) combined to drive in the three runs in the inning.
How it Happened:
- Herrera scored Wysocki for the opening run of the game in the top of the third inning with a double down the leftfield line. Herrera stole third and would score on a passed ball for a 2-0 advantage.
- LCU had two quickly retired in the top of the fourth inning before Wysocki singled and was the first of five consecutive Lady Chaps to reach base safely. Four were by hits, including Makemson driving in a pair of runs with a single and Lewis singling in a run for a 5-0 lead.
- Wysocki drove in a run with a single in the fifth inning and was part of a three-run sixth inning with another RBI-single. Bella Smith had a pinch-hit sacrifice fly and Villarreal walked with the bases loaded to complete the scoring summary of the inning, which provided LCU a 9-0 lead.
- Dakota Stotyn was three outs away from a no-hitter, and had not allowed a hit to 16 of the batters faced, until Mia Perez led off the sixth inning with a single. The Mountain Lions would get two additional hits to drive in their lone run of the game.
Inside the Numbers:
- Wysocki was 4-for-5 at the plate, going 2-for-2 in two-out at-bats and 2-for-2 with runners in scoring position. The four hits gave her eight hits for the weekend.
- LCU finished with 13 hits in the game, with 10 hits while at least one runner was on base.
- Tyla Lee went 2-for-4 in the game, leading to her hitting .545 (6-for-11) for the weekend.
- Stotyn improved to 3-0 with the win, going 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA on the weekend.
- Herrera had two hits and a RBI to finish the weekend 6-for-14 (.429) with three home runs and nine RBI.
- LCU moved to 4-1 all-time against UCCS.
