LEADING OFF
It was hitting with runners in scoring position that did Lubbock Christian University in in the series-opener against the Hilltoppers, and they will try and remedy that issue Saturday afternoon as the take on St. Edward's in game two of the series at Lucian-Hamilton Field. The loss dropped the Chaps into a dead heat with the Hilltoppers in the Lone Star Conference standings, with both teams posting 6-10 league records.
