Set Two:
Trailing 5-4, StMU was able to surge to an 11-7 lead with a 7-2 scoring advantage. Four of the points stemmed from LCU attack errors. LCU used an 8-3 run to storm back to take an 18-17 lead. StMU's Brianna Morris-Worth and Sadie Hough co-led the squad with four kills each

Set Three:
LCU tallied the opening point of the third set, but they had to play from behind after StMU had a 4-0 and 5-0 run as part of a 9-2 run for a 9-3 lead. A kill by Payton Murray sparked a 5-0 LCU run to pull within a point (11-10), but StMU four of the next five points for a 15-11 advantage. LCU did try a late rally, trailing 22-16, as a kill and block assist by Hailey Cournoyer led to a 7-1 run (opened as a 4-0 run) and LCU tied the set 23-23. StMU called a timeout and kills by Brianna Morris-Worth and Landri Withers closed the set (25-23) and match for StMU.
