GULF SHORES, Ala. (February 4, 2022) – A second day of schedule changes were made at Gulf Shores Invitational, and Lubbock Christian University's season opener has been rescheduled again with a new opponent. Additional changes were made for Sunday as well.
LCU's game with No.23 Alabama Huntsville (scheduled for Friday) has been canceled (weather). LCU's Saturday morning contest against West Alabama (9 a.m.) will now stand as LCU's season opener. The Lady Chaps were originally scheduled to open the season with Delta State before a weather-related revision resulted in the addition of UAH to the Lady Chaps schedule.
Sunday, LCU's originally scheduled games against Palm Beach Athletic and Valdosta State were changed, and LCU will now face Montevallo (11:15 a.m.) and West Georgia (1:30 p.m.). LCU will not play PBA or VSU.
