RA RA RASMUSSEN
- Sophomore Graycen Rasmussen has the second most points on the team with four.
- She had her first career multi goal game against New Mexico Highlands last Saturday.
- She ranks top-10 in the LSC in shots, goals, and shots on goal.
FLASHY FRESHMEN
- Nine Freshmen have seen action for the Lady Chaps in 2023. This includes Kara Murray, who has started in goal every game for LCU. Murray has made 21 saves and has a save percentage of .750.
- Emily Douglas and Emma Best have also been normal starters for LCU. Douglas scored her first career goal against Regis on Sept. 6. Best added an assist in that match.
- Maya Quinones added an assist against New Mexico Highlands.
FURTHER BACK
- The Lubbock Christian women's soccer program began in 2010 with a 5-2 loss to UT Permian Basin. On Sept. 2, 2021, they recorded the 100th win in program history, beating New Mexico Highlands 4-1. The Lady Chap program enters the 2023 season with an overall record of 115-84-28.
THE SERIES WITH WAYLAND BAPTIST
- This will be the first matchup between LCU and Wayland Baptist since 2019.
- In the 2019 matchup LCU won 5-0.
- The Lady Chaps have dominated the all-time series going 5-1-1.
