LADY CHAP NOTES
- LCU was one of 13 unbeaten teams this season before falling 3-2 Sept.14 to UT Permian Basin. The season start was their best since opening 2010 with an 8-0 record. The loss also ended an eight-match win streak if you include their season-ending win last season (their longest under head coach Keith Giboney and the longest streak since a 12-match win streak in 2018).  The Lady Chaps went into conference play with an 8-2 record on the season and their pre-conference record was their best 10-match start to their season since opening the first 10 matches of the 2014 season with a 9-1 record. They are off to a 1-1 start in LSC play, after opening with a 3-1 loss at Arkansas Fort Smith and rebounding with a 3-1 win at Oklahoma Christian, which has them entering this week 9-3 overall.

- Kayton Genenbacher has five double-doubles this season and enters Friday ranking second in the LSC in assists (434, 48th nationally), third in assists per set (9.43, 46th nationally) and eighth in aces with 18. Her assists are fueling a Lady Chaps offense that ranks 59th nationally (seventh in the LSC) in kills per set (12.9) and is hitting .198 on the season. Genenbacher surpassed 1,500 career assists Saturday at OC, and her 39-assist performance has her with 1,51 assists in her LCU career.

- Kiana Fallaha ranks fourth in the LSC in kills per set (3.7) and fifth in kills (172). She is fourth in the LSC in points per set with 4.0. Fallaha is third in the LSC with a pace of 11.0 attacks per set and has produced over 40 attacks in six matches this season. Friday (at UAFS), she notched her sixth double-double of the season (and of her career) and she has double-double performances in two of her last three matches.

- LCU ranks sixth in the LSC in digs per set (16.5), but it has been a balanced effort, as the Lady Chaps do not have any representation in the top-15 in conference leaders in digs. Chloe Menard is LCU's leader with 3.63 digs per set, as she has 167 total digs on the season. Four Lady Chaps (Menard, Genenbacher, Olivia Elofsson and Fallaha) have at least 2.5 digs per set.

- Lubbock Christian is 4-2 in home matches this season, with a 3-2 win over Oklahoma Christian in their last home match played (Sept. 16). - At OC Saturday, Chloe Menard had a match-high career-high six aces in the LCU win. The total ranks tied for the second-most in a match by a Lady Chaps member since 2008 and the most since Bradi Marshall posted eight at Dallas Baptist on Oct. 20, 2018. Menard's mark ranks as the most in a four-set match since Rachel Stuyvesant posted six against Southern Nazarene on Oct. 3, 2008. LCU had 10 aces as a team, which was the most since LCU notched 12 on Oct, 22, 2022 (against Cameron) and the mark is tied for the second-most in a four-set match since 2008.
