Box Score LUBBOCK, Texas (October 2, 2024) – Lubbock Christian University secured a dominant 5-0 win against Eastern New Mexico Wednesay at the friendly confines of the LCU Soccer and Track Complex. The Lady Chaps garnered their second consecutive Lone Star Conference win of the season.
Lubbock Christian rose to 4-3-1 overall and 2-1-0 in Lone Star action with the victory. The Greyhounds fell to 2-4-1 overall and 1-2-0 in Lone Star play.
How it Happened
Lubbock Christian University jumped out to an early lead, with senior
Kenley Blevins scoring her first goal of the season less than 13 minutes into the match. Freshman
Journey Curs added a second goal shortly after, assisted by fellow freshman
Lauren Rotan. The Lady Chaps carried their momentum into the second half, with
Claire Jacobson netting her first of the season just 52 seconds into the period.
Ella Spiller followed with her third goal of the year, and McKenzie Jost rounded out the scoring with her first career goal from a rebound to cap a three-goal second half for the Lady Chaps.

- Lubbock Christian dominated the number of shots, with a 21-2 advantage, 14 of which were on goal. The 14 shots-on-goal marked a season high and the most since they had 14 against New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 9, 2023.
