LUBBOCK, Texas (November 9, 2024) – Lubbock Christian University rebounded from their first home loss of the season with a three-set win (25-22, 25-13, 25-18) against the Cameron Aggies Saturday inside Rip Griffin Center. The Lone Star Conference win gets LCU a step closer to a berth to the Lone Star Conference Championships.

Lubbock Christian improves their record to 13-11 overall and 9-5 in LSC action, as two matches remain in the regular season. Cameron fell for an 11th consecutive match and drops to 1-25 overall and 1-13 in LSC play.

She produced the 15 kills on 21 attempts (one error) to hit .667 in the contest, which is the fourth-highest mark by a Lady Chap since the current rally scoring format started in 2008. Her 20.0 points ranked tied for the sixth-most in a three-set match since 2008.

» LCU hit .300 as a team and has hit .300 or better in six matches this season. It is LCU's highest amount of .300-or better attack percentage matches since they had seven in the 2012 season.

» The Lady Chaps are 6-4 in matches decided in straight sets.

» LCU defeats Cameron for a fifth consecutive time and improves to 6-3 all-time against the Aggies. The meeting was the second consecutive meeting between the two squads in Lubbock and the only-ever meetings in the Hub City between the two teams.

» The Lady Chaps improve to 5-1 at home on the season.

» The LSC Championships are an eight-team single-elimination conference tournament hosted by the top-seeded team based on the conference standings. Last season, LCU was the first team in LSC history to miss the conference tournament with a winning conference record, and they are seeking their first LSC postseason appearance since 2021.
