She leads the Lone Star Conference in scoring (20.2 PPG), blocks (18), and field goals made (68), while ranking 12th nationally in scoring. Foster also boasts five double-doubles this season, ranking second in the LSC, and is the conference leader in free throws made (46). Her ability to impact both ends of the court cements her as a top contender for postseason honors.
2 > On-Point:
Maci Maddox remains indispensable as LCU's floor general. She leads the LSC in minutes per game (36.4) and ranks 20th nationally. Her assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.25 places her first in the conference and 35th nationally, while her 33 total assists rank second in the LSC. Maddox's control has been pivotal in LCU maintaining the LSC's best assist-to-turnover ratio (0.94) and committing just 13.4 turnovers per game, the 23rd-best mark in D-II..
3 > Defensive Prowess: The Lady Chaps' defense continues to stifle opponents, ranking 21st nationally in scoring defense (53.7 PPG) and 19th in field goal percentage defense (34.0%). They dominate on the boards, with their 28.7 defensive rebounds per game ranking 46th nationally and third in the LSC.

Audrey Robertson recently joined Foster in the 1,000-point club with 1,107 career points, and
Maci Maddox is on track to join them soon with 928 points—72 shy of becoming LCU's third active player with 1,000 career points. If Maddox reaches the mark, it will mark the first time since the 2015-16 season that LCU has had a trio of 1,000-point scorers, following the legendary group of Haley Fowler, Nicole Hampton, and Kelsey Hoppel.

FIVE THINGS ABOUT StMU
1 > St. Mary's University has had a strong start to the 2024-25 season, boasting a 6-2 overall record and an unblemished 2-0 mark in Lone Star Conference play, good for third place in the East Division standings (0-0 in the East). The Rattlers have been consistent across different venues, with a 3-1 record at home, 2-0 on the road, and 1-1 at neutral sites. Despite opening with two tough exhibition losses to Division I opponents (UTSA and UT Rio Grande Valley) and an early season setback against Colorado School of Mines, they rebounded with key wins, including a nail-biter over Regis and a notable victory against Oklahoma Baptist. Their current three-game win streak is highlighted by dominant performances against Western New Mexico and Sul Ross State, reflects their ability to build momentum heading into crucial conference matchups.
2 > StMU faced a challenging 2023-24 women's basketball season, finishing with a 6-22 overall record and a 6-16 mark in Lone Star Conference play. Despite their struggles, the Rattlers showed resilience, claiming key conference victories over opponents such as Eastern New Mexico, Midwestern State, and Texas A&M-Kingsville. They closed the season on a high note, securing a narrow 49-47 win over Lubbock Christian at home and earning a road victory against St. Edward's in their final regular-season matchup. However, their struggles on the road (2-10) and in neutral-site games (0-3) highlighted their inconsistency away from Bill Greehey Arena, where they posted a 4-9 record. The Rattlers ranked near the bottom of the East Division standings, tied with Oklahoma Christian at 3-11 in divisional play and finishing just above Western New Mexico in conference performance. Last season's results led to StMU taking the No.13 ranking in the LSC Preseason Poll heading into the current season.
3 > St. Mary's leads the LSC and ranks 18th nationally with an impressive average of 4.6 blocked shots per game. Freshman Raynne Malik has been a dominant presence, tallying 15 blocks across eight games to lead the conference and rank 26th nationally in blocks per game (1.88). Her efforts contributed to the team's single-game school record of 12 blocks against Sul Ross State.
4 > The Rattlers have controlled the glass with a +9.0 rebound margin, placing them second in the LSC and 26th nationally. They rank first in the conference and 20th nationally in defensive rebounds per game (30.3), with contributions from five players who have led or tied for the team lead in rebounds this season, including Christin Callens and Imani Ivery.
5 > Freshman Christin Callens has emerged as a consistent scorer, ranking fourth in the Lone Star Conference and 65th nationally with 17.0 points per game. She also leads the league in field goal percentage at 56.5%, placing her 26th among all Division II players. Callens has scored in double figures in every game this season, highlighting her reliability on the offensive end.
