Lady Chaps And Eagles To Close Conference Opening Series Saturday

Cold Temperatures Expected For Series Rubber Match in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas (February 17, 2024) – If Mother Nature cooperates, Lubbock Christian University and No.22 Oklahoma Christian will complete their Lone Star Conference series Saturday with a noon scheduled rubber match at Maner Park.

LCU and OC Series Snapshot
  • LCU leads the all-time series over OC, 38-25, with their win Friday ending OC's six-game win streak in the head-to-head series. The 63 all-time meetings marks OC as LCU's most common opponent all-time.
  • The two teams are 1-1 against each other this season, as OC won Friday's opener 3-1 before LCU bounced back with a 6-0 win to split the doubleheader.
    • Hope Banales is 5-of-7 (.714) in the series with seven total bases.
