Lady Chaps With a Wednesday Doubleheader To Close MSU Series

LCU Has An Opportunity to Get Above .500 In LSC Play, Entering Wednesday With 2-2 LSC Record

LUBBOCK, Texas (February 21, 2023) – Lubbock Christian University completes their three-game Lone Star Conference series with Midwestern State Wednesday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Maner Park.

LCU and MSU Series Snapshot
  • Lubbock Christian has a 9-4 lead in the all-time series.
  • LCU swept the Mustangs in a three-game series last season at Mustang Park.

  • Kamryn Gibbs has the best active career batting average against MSU with a .500 average (7-for-14) in eight games.
  • Tiarra Delrosario is 9-for-21 (.429) in six career games against MSU and co-leads returning members with six career RBI against the Mustangs (Amanda Valdiviezo and Skylar Herrera also have six RBI).
  • Skylar Herrera has played eight career games against MSU and is batting .435 (10/23) with three homers and six RBI.
  • Hope Banales is hitting .400 (6-for-15) in four career games against MSU.
