Lady Chaps Sunday Contest Against Defending Champions Canceled

Weather and Field Conditions Leads To Sunday Cancellations at Gulf Shores Invitational

GULF SHORES, Ala. (February 4, 2024) – Field conditions and inclement weather at Gulf Shores Sportsplex canceled all games scheduled for Sunday at the Gulf Shores Invitational Included is LCU's scheduled 12:30 p.m. game against No.1 North Georgia.
 
LCU (1-3) was scheduled to close their stay in Alabama facing North Georgia (4-0), who is the defending NCAA Division II national champions. The game will be canceled and no make-up date will be scheduled. LCU will now return home and prepare to host Regis for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday (Feb. 11) at Maner Park.
