Daren Hays has announced the Lady Chaps and Regis (Colo.) have agreed to cancel Sunday's scheduled doubleheader and there will be no make-up date.
Regis is scheduled to play in San Angelo, Texas this weekend and Sunday was the only date the two teams could play, but forecasts are calling for inclement weather with potential wintery precipitation. The games were originally scheduled to serve as LCU's home opener.
The Lady Chaps (1-3) have now had three games lost off their schedule, due to weather, and if no additional scheduling is completed, LCU's next game will serve as LCU's home opener and conference opener with Oklahoma Christian scheduled for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Friday at Maner Park.
