CANYON, Texas - The Lubbock Christian University Track and Field program kicked off the 2024 outdoor season with seven first place finishes at the WT Spring Break Open.
For the LCU women,
Jozlyn Arana ran a time of 57.11 to finish first in the 400 meter dash. In the 800 meter,
Olivia Weider finished first with a time of 2:24.79.
Coulter Reel ran a 1:11.92 to finish first in the 400 meter hurdles. Freshmen
Alyssa Singletary jumped 1.64 meters in high jump to take home gold.Â
On the men's side,
Caden Nunn ran a 1:55.62 in the 800 meter to finish first. The team of
Keitron Boyd,
Trael Robertson,
George Garcia, and
Nathaniel Luna took him first in the 4X100 meter relay running a time of 40.81.
Bryce Spencer threw 62.09 meters in the hammer throw to finish first.Â
