LUBBOCK, Texas – The Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals continue their 2024 postseason journey at home this weekend in the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament Finals. The top-seeded Chaps will take on 4th-Seeded UT Permian Basin Thursday night to open the double-elimination portion of the tournament.

LCU in the LSC Tournament
LCU has advanced to the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament every season it's been a part of the league (no tournament in 2020 due to Covid-19). In their three tournament appearances, LCU has advanced past the opening weekend three times, sweeping St. Edward's this season, sweeping West Texas A&M last season, and beating Texas A&M Kingsville 2-1 in 2021. In total, LCU is 10-9 in LSC tournament games.
