They'll look to snap a two-game winless streak on Friday at Eastern New Mexico (6 p.m. Central) before traveling to Canyon, Texas, on Sunday to take on West Texas A&M (1 p.m.).

Grace Foster continues to cement her place in Lubbock Christian University history, surpassing 1,500 career points—a milestone last reached by Allie Schulte on Feb. 3, 2022. Foster's 1,558 career points rank 14th among active NCAA Division II players and places her within striking distance of the program's all-time top five scorers; she needs 168 points to overtake Emily Pool (Atkins) for fifth place. In addition, Foster is closing in on fifth all-time in career rebounds at LCU, needing nine to surpass Carol Hise's mark of 733.
Audrey Robertson recently joined Foster in the 1,000-point club with 1,134 career points, and
Maci Maddox is on track to join them soon with 960 points—40 shy of becoming LCU's third active player with 1,000 career points. If Maddox reaches the mark, it will mark the first time since the 2015-16 season that LCU has had a trio of 1,000-point scorers, following the legendary group of Haley Fowler, Nicole Hampton, and Kelsey Hoppel.

BACK IN THE RANKINGS
Lubbock Christian University's women's basketball team entered the 2024-25 season ranked No. 17 in the D2CSC Women's Basketball Division II Top-25 Preseason Poll, a notable return to national prominence after an unusual preseason absence last year. They were receiving votes in the WBCA Preseason Poll (Division II).
In the latest polls, for both national Division II polling organizations, LCU is ranked No.7 in the D2CSC (have not conducted rankings since the holiday break) and No. 20 by WBCA (Dec. 31, 2024 was their latest ranking). LCU is 1-3 against nationally ranked programs this season and each have been against programs in the top-10 nationally. Following their games in Las Vegas, LCU has played four-of-five games against programs ranked in the top-10 nationally. Eastern New Mexico is receiving votes in the D2CSC polls.
FIVE THINGS ABOUT ENMU
1 > Eastern New Mexico is off to a stellar start in the 2024-25 season, boasting a 10-1 overall record and an undefeated 5-0 mark in Lone Star Conference play, highlighted by an active eight-game winning streak. The Greyhounds are dominant at home (6-0) and competitive on the road (3-1), with their lone loss coming against Southwestern Oklahoma State. ENMU has showcased a balanced attack, with convincing wins over key conference opponents like West Texas A&M (74-57) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (56-48). Their performance has positioned them tied atop the West Division standings (1-0) and they are the only team unbeaten (5-0) in LSC play.
2 > ENMU is off to its best start in school history, standing at 10-1 overall and 5-0 in Lone Star Conference play. The eight-game winning streak is its longest since 2000, while ENMU has begun conference play undefeated for the first time since 2016-17. ENMU played a pair of exhibition games over the holiday break, falling at New Mexico State 77-46 before falling Monday at UTEP (Texas El Paso) 50-48. The Hounds overcame a 16-point third-quarter deficit, tying the game late on Abbi Holder's step-back three. ENMU outscored UTEP 20-8 in the fourth quarter, with Julieta Ceja's jumper and key defense setting up the late drama. Holder led ENMU with 11 points, while Ceja added 10 points and nine rebounds. Victoria Barrera contributed eight points, and Trinity Hudson grabbed eight boards. UTEP secured the 50-48 exhibition win on a last-second putback, despite ENMU's spirited comeback effort.
3 > Eastern New Mexico's depth is a critical strength, leading the Lone Star Conference and ranking ninth nationally with 33.9 bench points per game. Of their 11 games played this season, their bench has surpassed 30 points six times and they have produced at least 22 points in each game this season.
4 > The Greyhounds dominate the glass, boasting a +14.3 rebound margin, the best in the LSC and fourth nationally. They average 16.7 offensive rebounds per game (16th nationally) and 43.82 total rebounds per game (17th). ENMU has out-rebounded their opponents in all 11 games this season, and had at least a +5 rebound margin in every game.
5 > Ishuana Hunter's two-way impact is undeniable, ranking third in the LSC with 2.0 steals per game and contributing offensively with a 49.0% field goal percentage. Grace Foster delivered 24 points and six rebounds to lead Lubbock Christian University (18-7, 13-5 LSC) to a commanding 66-45 victory over Eastern New Mexico in Lone Star Conference West Division play inside Rip Griffin Center.
The Lady Chaps shot 54.5% from three-point range, with Foster hitting 4-of-6, and never trailed in the contest.
LCU's defense played a pivotal role, forcing 21 turnovers that led to a 22-10 advantage in points off turnovers.
Audrey Robertson spearheaded the defensive effort with four steals, matching her career high, while also contributing five assists and three points. The Lady Chaps capitalized on balanced scoring, including 23 bench points, led by six from
Audrey Spurgin.
The Lady Chaps opened with a strong start, using a 5-0 run to build a 7-2 lead early in the first quarter. Behind Foster's six points, LCU ended the quarter up 15-7. The momentum continued in the second, with a 7-0 run extending the lead to 22-8. Foster, who tallied 11 points by halftime, helped LCU take a 30-18 lead into the break.
In the third quarter, Foster added another 11 points, punctuating a 7-0 run with a three-pointer to push the lead to 41-26. The Lady Chaps shot 7-of-12 in the frame and outscored ENMU 20-15 to enter the final quarter ahead 50-33. LCU dominated inside during the fourth, scoring 12 of its 16 points in the paint, including a jumper by
Taylor Thomas that capped an 8-0 run.
ENMU (8-16, 4-14 LSC) was limited to 34.1% shooting, with Deja Adrian and Ashley Shipley scoring 11 points each.
