Grace Foster's record-breaking 39-point performance propelled LCU to an 80-63 road victory over Angelo State in Lone Star Conference West Division play. Foster, who added 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, broke LCU's single-game scoring record and fueled a 24-10 fourth-quarter surge. The Lady Chaps extended their win streak to six, improving to 16-3 overall and 7-0 in the division while snapping Angelo State's 11-game streak. LCU shot a season-best 57.4% from the field, with Foster, Maci Maddox (15 points, seven assists), and Reese Schumann (14 points) leading the way. Defensively, LCU held ASU to 38.7% shooting and forced 17 turnovers, converting them into 28 points. The win gave LCU a two-game lead in the division and extended their all-time series advantage over Angelo State to 18-7. Foster's record included six three-pointers and marked the top scoring performance in the LSC this season.

CHAP-TIVATING STATS: 5 LADY CHAP FACTS
1 > Grace Under Pressure: Grace Foster continued her historic season with a record-breaking 39-point performance against Angelo State, setting a new Lubbock Christian University single-game scoring record. Her double-double (39 points, 10 rebounds) was her sixth of the season and 23rd of her career. Foster remains the Lone Star Conference (LSC) leader in total points (374, 6th nationally), three-point shooting percentage (47.4%, 5th nationally), and blocks (37, 16th nationally). She also ranks second in points per game (19.7, 13th nationally) and free throws made (87, 12th nationally).

2 > Robertson's Rise: Audrey Robertson added another stellar week to her season, highlighted by a 21-point outing at UT Permian Basin, her third game this season with 21 points. Robertson also contributed seven rebounds in the win, including four offensive boards that led to 17 second-chance points, matching LCU's season high. She ranks third in the LSC and 11th nationally in three-point shooting percentage (44.9%) while averaging 13.3 points per game (10th in LSC).

3 > Defensive Lockdown: The Lady Chaps' defense continues to rank among the nation's best, sitting 13th in scoring defense (54.4 points allowed per game) and 24th in field goal percentage defense (35.1%). Against Angelo State, they forced 17 turnovers, outscoring ASU 28-9 in points off turnovers, a season high. LCU has now outrebounded opponents in six consecutive games, including a +2 margin against ASU. Their defensive consistency is fueled by players like Foster, who ranks second in the LSC in defensive rebounds per game (7.1), and Audrey Robertson, whose defensive versatility anchors LCU's success.

4 > Charity: LCU leads the LSC in free throw percentage (78.3%, 17th nationally), with standout contributions from Grace Foster (87.0%, 29th nationally), Kennedy Chappell (86.1%), and Maci Maddox (84.8%). Foster's 9-of-10 performance from the line against UT Permian Basin highlighted her composure under pressure. The success has LCU averaging 13.9 points per game from the line.

5 > Deep Threat Duo: Lubbock Christian remains the LSC's top three-point shooting team (36.6%, 15th nationally), averaging 7.5 made threes per game (48th nationally). Foster (47.4%, 1st in LSC and 5th nationally) and Robertson (44.9%, 3rd in LSC and 11th nationally) form a dynamic outside shooting duo. The Lady Chaps' season-best 55.6% performance from three-point range (10-of-18) against Angelo State demonstrated their offensive firepower. Foster's six threes tied a career high, and Robertson added two key triples to extend LCU's lead during pivotal moments.

FOSTER'S FIRE
Grace Foster earned her fifth Lone Star Conference weekly honor of the season following a record-breaking performance, as she was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Foster delivered an astonishing offensive week for LCU, highlighted by a record-breaking 39-point performance Saturday at Angelo State. Her 39 points (highest in the LSC this season) set a new LCU single-game scoring record, surpassing the previous mark of 38 set in the 1995-96 season (completed twice that season by Beth Capps). The Childress, Texas native's efficiency was equally impressive, shooting 15-of-22 from the field (68.2%), including 6-of-9 from three-point range (66.7%). She also added 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, contributing to an 80-63 victory that snapped ASU's 11-game win streak. Foster's week began with a strong showing Thursday at UT Permian Basin, where she tallied 19 points and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line (9-of-10). Across the two games, Foster averaged 29.0 points per game, leading the Lone Star Conference in scoring for the week. She shot 57.6% from the field (19-of-33) and 61.5% from beyond the arc (8-of-13), ranking among the most efficient scorers in the conference. Her 15 made field goals against ASU were the most in the 22-year tenure of head coach Steve Gomez and just one shy of the program's all-time record. Foster's offensive dominance powered LCU to a perfect 2-0 week, maintaining their undefeated West Division record (7-0) and securing their sixth consecutive win. Foster received her fifth LSC weekly honor of the season (second for Offensive Player of the Week) and the 12th of her career (her eighth for offense). The Lady Chaps have received LSC weekly honors six times this season, with Foster claiming five of the six honors. Maci Maddox was the last Lady Chaps member recognized with a weekly accolade, claiming Offensive Player of the Week honors Jan. 6.
