Lubbock Christian University tied a program record with 18 three-pointers in a dominant 77-52 win over Cameron at Rip Griffin Center, extending their win streak to eight games.
Grace Foster led the way with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals, becoming LCU's fourth all-time leading scorer. Foster hit five treys, while
Maci Maddox (15 points, five assists) and
Kennedy Chappell (13 points, seven rebounds) added career-best performances from beyond the arc. The Lady Chaps (18-3, 12-1) shot 56.3% from three-point range, with seven players contributing from long distance. LCU turned 16 Cameron turnovers into 17 points and held the Aggies winless in conference play. The victory marked LCU's 14th consecutive home win and their 10th straight over Cameron, boosting their all-time series lead to 12-9. Foster's double-double was her seventh this season and 24th of her career.

For the second straight week, Lubbock Christian University's
Grace Foster has been honored as the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, marking the third time this season she has earned the award. This also brings her total conference weekly honors to six this season. Foster previously achieved back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week honors to start the season, making this her second stretch of consecutive weekly accolades.
Foster delivered stellar performances for Lubbock Christian University this week in conference home wins over Oklahoma Christian and Cameron. Foster averaged 23.0 points per game this week (in an average of 24.7 minutes per game), tied for second in scoring across the Lone Star Conference. Her remarkable efficiency was on full display as she shot 75.0% from the field (12-of-16), 63.6% from beyond the arc (7-of-11), and an outstanding 93.8% from the free-throw line (15-of-16). Against Oklahoma Christian, she poured in 24 points, connecting on 10-of-10 free throws, while adding four steals and four blocks in just under 25 minutes. The junior from Childress, Texas followed this with another 22-point performance versus Cameron, highlighted by five made three-pointers at a 71.4% clip. Foster also made a significant impact defensively, averaging 7.0 rebounds per game, all of which came on the defensive end, as well as 4.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game. Her four blocks against Oklahoma Christian matched a season high and played a key role in holding the Eagles to 54 points. She finished the week ranked in the top 15 in scoring, rebounding, three-point shooting, and free-throw percentage for the conference. In LCU's win Saturday against Cameron, in which the Lady Chaps matched a program single-game record with 18 three-pointers, she notched an impressive double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. She completed the task in only 24 minutes of time on the floor. The double-double performance was her seventh of the season and 24th of her LCU career. Her 22 points marked the 12th time this season she has surpassed 20 points in a game this season.
Foster received her sixth LSC weekly honor of the season (third for Offensive Player of the Week) and the 13th of her career (her ninth for offense). The Lady Chaps have received LSC weekly honors seven times this season, with Foster claiming six of the seven honors.

Grace Foster continues to cement her place in Lubbock Christian University history, surpassing 1,500 career points—a milestone last reached by Allie Schulte on Feb. 3, 2022. Foster's 1,730 career points ranks eighth among active NCAA Division II players and Saturday she moved into fourth all-time in career scoring for the Lady Chaps. She passed Emily Pool (Atkins) (1,725, 2010-14) and Tess Bruffey (1,728, 2014-18) to jump into the fourth spot. Foster is 38 points away from moving past Jordan Hampton, who had 1,767 points from 2005-09. Nicole Hampton is LCU's all-time scoring leader with 1,796 points (2011-16), and Foster is 67 points away from the top spot in program history. In addition, Foster has 777 career rebounds, which has her ranking fifth in program history. She needs 62 rebounds to pass Darla Lynch (838, 1979-83) to move into fourth in program history.
Audrey Robertson (sitting with 1,251 career points) joined Foster in the 1,000-point club in career points on Nov. 3, and

Lubbock Christian University's women's basketball team entered the 2024-25 season ranked No. 17 in the D2CSC Women's Basketball Division II Top-25 Preseason Poll, a notable return to national prominence after an unusual preseason absence last year. They were receiving votes in the WBCA Preseason Poll (Division II).
In the latest polls, for both national Division II polling organizations, LCU is ranked No14 by the D2CSC and No.18 by the WBCA. LCU is 1-3 against nationally ranked programs this season and each have been against programs in the top-10 nationally.

THE SERIES AGAINST WTAMU
LCU and WT are separated by 110 miles, but the two teams have only met 17 prior times (14 meetings since 2020). LCU, winners of the previous three meetings, has an 11-6 series advantage. The first ever meeting was on Nov. 16, 2001, with WT defeating LCU 90-53 in Canyon, Texas (LCU's 2001-02 season opener). Lubbock Christian University claimed a dominant 70-56 victory over West Texas A&M (WTAMU) in Canyon, Texas, to open this season's Rivalry on the Range series. Led by
Maci Maddox's double-double of 18 points and 10 assists, the Lady Chaps improved to 12-3 overall and 6-1 in Lone Star Conference play, remaining unbeaten (3-0) in the West Division.
Audrey Robertson paced the scoring with a game-high 19 points, shooting an efficient 7-of-11 from the field, including a career-best five three-pointers.
Reese Schumann added 12 points, shooting 6-of-7, while contributing six rebounds and three blocks.
LCU's defense shone, holding WTAMU to 31.7% shooting, the ninth time this season they've kept an opponent under 40%. The Lady Chaps dominated inside, recording seven blocks—three each from
Grace Foster and Schumann—and narrowly edged WTAMU on the boards, 36-35. Foster also tallied seven rebounds.
LCU set the tone early with strong three-point shooting, hitting three treys in the opening quarter to take a 19-16 lead. Robertson closed the first half with eight points in the second quarter, including two clutch threes, helping LCU secure a 34-23 halftime advantage.
The Lady Chaps sealed the win with a commanding third quarter, shooting 61.5% from the field and going on a 7-0 run to extend their lead to 52-30. Maddox and Robertson each scored five points in the frame, giving LCU a comfortable 52-37 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
LCU's 70 points were all from the field, as they attempted just one free throw—marking the first time in head coach
Steve Gomez's 23-year tenure that the team did not make a free throw. Despite the rare stat, LCU's 10-of-23 shooting from deep (43.5%) and season-high 30 field goals powered their win.
