FOSTER'S FIREWORKS: BIG THREE, BIG BLOCK, BIG WIN
Grace Foster's late-game heroics propelled LCU to a 59-53 victory over Eastern New Mexico in Lone Star Conference action Friday, snapping the Greyhounds' eight-game win streak. Foster nailed a clutch three-pointer with 20 seconds left to give LCU a 57-53 edge and sealed the win with a pivotal block on the next possession, finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks for her fifth double-double of the season. Audrey Robertson and
Kennedy Chappell added key contributions in a flawless fourth-quarter effort that saw LCU go 7-for-7 at the line. The Lady Chaps also controlled the glass, out-rebounding ENMU 38-35, and handed the Greyhounds their first conference loss of the season.
