FORT WORTH, Texas (October 25, 2025) – The Lubbock Christian men's cross-country team finished sixth at the 2025 Lone Star Conference Championships at the Athletic Performance Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Chaps finished with a team score of 188 for their sixth-place finish, which was the highest by the LCU men since 2019, when they placed second.

Lubbock Christian was paced by
Alfons Rawall, who placed 23
rd. The junior posted a new 8K personal best, finishing the course with a time of 25:52.26, which surpassed his previous PR set at the Texas Tech Open to begin the 2025 season.

Three Chaparrals placed in the 30s, including
Gavin Morrison (34),
Samuel Bryan (36) and
Matthew Gordon (38). Morrison, a junior, had his best collegiate 8K time by more than 10 seconds while Bryan and Gordon continue their strong 2025 seasons.

Senior
Aiden Zingone, finished in 60
th with a time of 27:09.91.
Kaleb Gaona, who led the Chaps at their final regular season meet, finished in 80
th, and freshman
Micah Zapata rounded out the LCU squad with a 94
th-place finish.

The Chaps will now gear up for the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on Nov. 8 in Pueblo, Colorado.
