LUBBOCK, Texas (December 29, 2025) - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All‐District® Women's Volleyball Teams, recognizing the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Four Lubbock Christian University volleyball student‐athletes earned Academic All‐District honors, as seniors
Lily Bickley and
Bryleigh Schweer and juniors
Ramsey Clark and
Abby Dominguez were each selected to the list.
Bickley, a senior middle blocker from Fort Worth, Texas, capped a decorated career by becoming the 23rd All‐American in program history, claiming AVCA All‐America honors in addition to her Academic All‐District selection. The Biology major carries a 4.00 GPA and was already named the Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year. On the court, Bickley ranked among the LSC's most efficient and consistent attackers, closing the season with 368 kills (fifth in the LSC), a .325 hitting percentage (fifth), 100 blocks (eighth) and 435 points, while appearing in national statistical rankings throughout the year. A First Team All‐LSC and AVCA All‐Region selection, she finished her four-year Lady Chaps career with 1,177 kills, the second‐highest total of LCU's rally-scoring era, and 266 total blocks. Her 225 block assists rank among the top 10 in program history.
Clark, a junior defensive specialist from Midland, Texas, is majoring in Business and appeared in all 33 matches and played in 119 sets this season. She finished third on the team with 321 digs, a total that ranked 19th in the LSC, and recorded 16 matches with at least 10 digs. Clark closed the season with digs in nine of her final 10 matches (including the final five) and has now produced 665 career digs in three seasons and 85 matches with the Lady Chaps.
Dominguez, a senior libero from Snyder, Texas, majoring in Education, completed one of the top defensive seasons in program history. She finished the year with 639 digs, a total that ranked No. 1 in the LSC, seventh nationally, and stands as the 10th‐best single‐season mark in LCU history. Dominguez logged at least 10 digs in more than 22 matches and recorded 15 matches with 20 or more digs. Her 37 digs in the LSC quarterfinals were the most by any player in the tournament and tied for the seventh‐most in a five-set match in program history during the rally-scoring era. An Honorable Mention All‐Conference selection and LSC All-Tournament Team pick, Dominguez totaled 907 digs in two seasons at LCU after transferring from Weatherford College. She also led all players at the LSC Championships with 76 digs (6.91 per set).
Schweer, a senior middle blocker from Greeley, Colo., owns a 4.00 GPA while majoring in Business and transferred to LCU prior to the 2024 season from Dordt College. She earned LSC All‐Academic Team honors and Honorable Mention All‐Conference recognition after turning in the best season of her career. Schweer ranked sixth in the LSC in total blocks (105), ninth in blocks per set (0.91) and 13th in hitting percentage (.279), while finishing top-five on the team in kills (219) and points (297).
To be eligible for CSC Academic All‐District honors, student‐athletes must hold a minimum 3.50 GPA and must have competed in at least 90 percent of their team's matches or started at least 66 percent of them.
The four selections tie the program's NCAA-era record for most Academic All‐District honorees in a season, matching totals in 2022 and 2024. Since joining the NCAA prior to the 2013–14 season, LCU has now produced 14 Academic All‐District recipients, and Bickley is a multi-year honoree. Bickley and Dominguez advance as finalists for CSC Academic All-America® honors.
Academic All‐District honorees now advance to the CSC Academic All‐America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America selections will be announced in January. The CSC Academic All‐America program recognizes honorees separately in NCAA Divisions I, II, III and the NAIA.
