GULF SHORES, Ala. (February 1, 2025) – After a seven-hour delay and two late games on Friday night, Lubbock Christian University kicked off its season with a split result—a 3-1 win over Nova Southeastern and a 6-5 loss to Florida Tech. Less than 12 hours later, the Lady Chaparrals are back at Gulf Shores Sportsplex for Saturday's matchups, taking on Union (Tenn.) at 10:30 a.m. and Valdosta State at 3 p.m. The game times have been adjusted due to Friday night's delayed schedule in the opening day of the Gulf Shores Invitational.
