MILESTONING
Grace Foster continues to cement her place in Lubbock Christian University history, surpassing 1,500 career points—a milestone last reached by Allie Schulte on Feb. 3, 2022. Foster's 1,781 career points ranks eighth among active NCAA Division II players, and Thursday, she moved past Beth Capps (1,773, 1995-97) and into second place in program history. Nicole Hampton is LCU's all-time scoring leader with 1,796 points (2011-16), and Foster is 16 points away from the top spot in program history. In addition, Foster has 798 career rebounds, which has her ranking fifth in program history. She needs 41 rebounds to pass Darla Lynch (838, 1979-83) to move into fourth in program history.
Audrey Robertson (sitting with 1,275 career points) joined Foster in the 1,000-point club in career points on Nov. 3, and
Maci Maddox reached the mark Jan. 9 becoming LCU's third active player with 1,000 career points (has 1,116). It marks the first time since the 2015-16 season that LCU has had a trio of 1,000-point scorers, following the legendary group of Haley Fowler, Nicole Hampton, and Kelsey Hoppel.

Defensively, the Lady Lobos have struggled, allowing at least 70 points in 11 of their losses. They fell 88-70 Thursday against Midwestern State.
2 > Despite their struggles, Sul Ross State has been active on defense, entering the week averaging 9.7 steals per game. Cheyanne Bonilla and TaMaiya Mims have been the biggest contributors, each recording 38 steals this season. Melody Martinez (11.2 PPG), Cheyanne Bonilla (11.6 PPG), Mims (11.1 PPG), and Victoria Aguayo (9.8 PPG) lead a well-distributed offense. While they have struggled with shooting efficiency, their ability to spread the scoring load has kept them in several contests, including a season-high 83-point outing in their win over Western New Mexico.

THE SERIES AGAINST SRSU
LCU leads the all-time regular season series 40-12 in regular season play. Sul Ross's last win was Jan. 6, 1989.
