FIVE THINGS ABOUT WTAMU
1 >
West Texas A&M wrapped up the regular season with an 18-11 overall record and a 12-10 mark in Lone Star Conference play, finishing tied for fourth in the West Division standings. The Lady Buffs have been dominant at home, posting a 12-4 record at the First United Bank Center, but have struggled on the road (4-7). WT arrives into the semifinal matchup after a 58-47 upset win over No.2-seed UT Tyler.

2 >
West Texas A&M's Kyla Kane (Second Team), Randi Harding (Third Team), and Claire Graham (Third Team) are All-Conference selections for the Lady Buffs.

3 > One of West Texas A&M's strongest areas is at the free-throw line, where they excel both as a team and individually. The Lady Buffs ranked third in the conference in free throws made per game (13.61) and free throw attempts per game (19.00), converting at a respectable 71.6% clip. Leading the way is junior guard Kyla Kane, who dominates from the charity stripe, shooting an impressive 89.4%, ranking first in the Lone Star Conference and sixth nationally.

4 > The Lady Buffs are one of the better rebounding teams in the conference, particularly on the defensive end. They ranked second in the LSC in defensive rebounds per game (28.0). Forward Taylor Haggan plays a key role, ranking eighth in the conference in total rebounds (223) and posting 7.2 rebounds per game. Despite their strong presence on the defensive glass, their offensive rebounding (11.2 per game, 5th in LSC) showed they could improve in creating second-chance opportunities.

5 > West Texas A&M's three-point shooting ranks eighth in the conference in three-pointers made per game (6.1) and three-point percentage (30.0%). Kane and Claire Graham are the team's primary deep threats, combining for 100 made threes on the season.
